SHORTSKIRTS IS MY HAPPY PLACE. Seriously, my love for this verse is, like, TRANSCENDENT. It's not just the amazingness of baseball star!Dean and doctor!Castiel (I'm English, baseball is just laughably fast cricket to me), it's the gorgeous little touches of characterisation - like Castiel being all jealous and possessive because some tiny part of him is still worried that one day Dean is going to wake up and realise that major league baseball stars don't normally date pale skinny male geeks? And Dean totally not getting it because, come on, obviously Castiel is way too good for him. I love it. I would totally sell my firstborn to read about Castiel at the hospital and what all the nurses think of Dean...
